PEORIA, Ill. -- One woman is arrested for driving under the influence after she reportedly crashed her car into the Lariat Steakhouse.

Peoria Police say Caroline Borden, 33, of Peoria, was charged with DUI after the incident happened around 11:30 Friday night.

Restaurant owner Ken Kouri says Borden was leaving the Lariat with another adult passenger, when she backed her vehicle into the front door, damaging it and parts of the interior walls.

Kouri says a handful of employees were inside at the time, but no one was injured, including Borden and the passenger.

The Lariat will remain open as crews repair the damages.

The restaurant went through remodeling about a year ago.
