BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- More than 40 Bloomington Central Catholic students loaded up their belongings for a 13 hour drive to Washington, D.C.
They will take part in the March for Life on Friday with thousands of other high school students from all over the country.
Central Catholic students have been making the trip each year for the last decade.
"Every time they come back they are amazed at the number of young people they see there and it's a good experience for them spiritually," said Father Peter Pilon.
"Some people like don't even know what abortion is and they are uneducated about it. Since I strongly believe that that is killing humans, I want to make a difference," said Central Catholic Senior Luke McClure.
The group will be marching Friday along with seeing some of the sights.
They will return Saturday morning.
