PEORIA, Ill -- From Acura to Volkswagen, all the latest models are display this weekend at the 24th annual Central Illinois Auto Show.
The Central Illinois Auto Show rolled into the Peoria Civic Center Friday. Dealers say for the first day, it's been busy, which is a good sign for them and the economy.
Karl Kasjens from East Peoria said he was looking at SUVs with his wife, "We're trying to look at some small SUVs. We're thinking of buying a new vehicle within the next couple of months."
Fuel efficiency still seems to be on people's mind this year.
"They're making more features and more seating available on these smaller SUVs, so that people can get away from the gas-guzzlers of the past," said Ryan Kneer, Sales Manager with Mike Miller Auto.
The show features both 2013 and 2014 models, boasting some impressive features including remote start from your iPhone and panoramic sun roofs.
"This Jeep Grand Cherokee has adaptive cruise, you can set it to how far away you want the cruise to kick off, whether it be one vehicle length, two vehicle length, three vehicle lengths," said Steve Porter, General Manager at Pekin Uftring Chrysler.
You can check out the over 300 vehicles this weekend at the Peoria Civic Center. The Central Illinois Auto Show is open Saturday from 11-8 and Sunday from 11-5.
"This is really good for people to come out and have all the vehicles in one spot, you know, to be able to see them and get in them and touch them and feel them," added Kneer.
