Chicago Bears win Kettle Challenge

EAST PEORIA, Ill. -- Central Illinois has spoken. This year's Salvation Army Bears-Packers Kettle Challenge goes to the Chicago Bears.

 

 

 

Saturday, two teams of bell ringers suited up at the Hy-Vee store in Peoria and Bass Pro Shops in East Peoria.

Passersby were asked to donate money to the kettle representing their team of preference.

The final tally: Chicago bears $890, the Green Bay Packers $691.
