EUREKA, Ill. -- A Chillicothe man was arrested Monday for allegedly making threats that caused the lockdown of a school.

Samuel A. Guede, 17, is accused of harassment through electronic communication. Guede allegedly threatened to use a gun to kill a Riverview Grade School student.

The alleged threat was transmitted Monday through Facebook.

Riverview was locked down for approximately 30 minutes after officials were made aware of the threat.

Guede is being held in the Woodford County Jail. A bond hearing is expected Wednesday.
