CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Ariel Castro, the man who held three women captive in his Cleveland, Ohio home for nearly ten years, will spend the rest of his life in prison.

Castro accepted a plea deal Friday that will spare him the possibility of facing the death penalty.

Instead he will be sentenced to life in prison, plus 1,000 years.
