PEORIA, Ill. -- The Salvation Army is continuing its mission to keep area children warm this winter season.
On Friday, the local chapter is hosting its third "Coats for Kids" giveaway at the Salvation Army Community Center on Nebraska in Peoria.
Anyone wanting a coat for their children will need to present a valid ID and medical card for each child.
The giveaway begins at 9 a.m.
