SOUTH PEKIN, Ill. -- An unusual group took a break in South Pekin on Wednesday.

This is Lee the Horse logger.

Known to many horse enthusiasts, Lee travels across the country with his horses looking for logging jobs.

On Wednesday, Lee made a stop at Super Sports to give himself and his horses a break.

Lee is on his way to New York to pick up a new horse so that he will have a full logging team.

You might be wondering what horse logging is, but we'll leave that up to Lee to explain.

"Horse logging is when you take a team of horses, you cut the diseased, defected trees and leave the good stuff. You take the horses to pull the logs down to the road to where a truck can get it. It's economically more friendly and its definitely more environmentally friendly," said Lee.

This is the third time Lee has traveled through central Illinois.
