Cuba man charged with felony theft after filing false police report

CUBA, Ill. --- A Cuba, Ill. man faces charges of Felony Disorderly Conduct and Felony Theft.

On September 9, Jamey S. Ford, 41, made a report to Fulton County Sheriff’s Deputies about a robbery he said had occurred at the Cuba American Legion.

Upon further investigation deputies determined that the robbery never occurred and that Ford himself had stolen from the Legion.

Ford was arrested Friday and taken to the Fulton County Jail on $25,000 bond.
