PEORIA, Ill. – District 150 says they don't have the records requested by members of the Charter Oak Special Action Committee.

The group submitted a FOIA request on January 6 requesting a copy of the District’s testing policies for ISAT tests.

The Illinois State Board of Education requires school districts have in place a local testing policy that includes sanctions and disciplinary measures that will be used if testing irregularities occur.

District 150’s FOIA officer denied the request stating “The District does not possess records responsive to your request.”

The District’s response has the Special Action Committee questioning whether or not the District has a testing policy in place that includes sanctions and disciplinary measures as required by state law.

The committee can request the denial be reviewed by the Public Access Counselor at the Office of the Illinois Attorney General in Springfield.
