District 150 teacher charged with enticing minor officially terminated from position

PEORIA, Ill. -- At Monday night's District 150 board meeting, board members voted to officially terminate Manual high school teacher Amanda Ludwig.

The 28-year-old faces federal charges for enticing a minor.

Ludwig was arrested in February after police found evidence of her and a 15-year-old Manual student engaging in sexual intercourse in her classroom on the teen's cell phone.

Ludwig is currently under house arrest.

If convicted she faces 10 years to life in prison.
