ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- You can help those battling pancreatic cancer and get something sweet in return thanks to some local restaurants.
Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis, Missouri announced a fundrasier partnership with Wendy's on Thursday.
From now through March, customers can purchase a $2 frosty key tag from participating Peoria area stores.
They can then use that key tag to receive a free junior frosty with any purchase in 2013.
All the money raised will fund research to improve therapies for pancreatic cancer patients.
Participating Wendy's restaurants are:
- 5001 North Big Hollow Road, Peoria
- 1600 East College Avenue, Normal
- 1735 Bradford, Normal
- 505 South Deerfield, Pontiac
- 3495 Court Street, Pekin
