PEORIA, Ill. -- The Saint Jude Dream Home is one step closer to being completed.
Vendors and donors were able to sign the floor of the house Wednesday, before it is carpeted.
The 2013 Dream Home is located in the Stonehedge Estates in Peoria County, and has an estimated value of $335,000.
Residents will be allowed to view the 4 bedroom home starting next week.
On March 16th, we'll be having an open house here when the house is completed so the general public can see the house, and buy tickets here at the house," said Contractor Brandon Dean.
Officials say nearly half of the 6,000 tickets for the Dream Home have been sold.
Tickets are $100 a piece and can be purchased at any Peoria and Tazewell County Kroger store.
The winner of the home will be announced live on WEEK in April.
