One woman's decision to drink and drive resulted in a fatal hit-and-run in Bloomington Sunday.
Authorities say one person is dead. A second is hospitalized.
They are not releasing information concerning the victims but have identified the driver as Katie Lawson.
She was arrested and charged with an accident resulting in injury or death, driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to report an accident, and driving on a suspended license.
Authorities say just before 2 a.m., Lawson was driving westbound on Washington, at Main Street, when she hit two pedestrians with her vehicle.She then allegedly fled the scene, continuing west on Washington.
The hit-and-run is still under investigation.
