EAST PEORIA, IL. -- As the River starts to slowly recede Business is starting to get back to normal in East Peoria.

Camp Street between Riverside Drive and River Road has reopened.

The Road was closed monday when the creek behind Camp Street crossing threatened to overflow it's banks.

Buffalo Wild Wings Owner Doug Cekander says his business was down fifty percent while the road was closed.

"We have seen a lot of people gawking. Actually, when they reopened Camp Street yesterday, our business pretty much came back to normal right away. Not a big increase, but pretty much average to where we typically were for a Tuesday," Doug Cekander, Owner, Buffalo Wild Wings.

West of River Road... Camp street remains still closed.

The Embassy Suites Hotel had a contingency plan in place, and say other than having to sandbag their parking lot and a few business travelers canceling business is running as usual.
