EAST PEORIA, Ill. -- Some school students got a jump on job opportunities on Friday.

East Peoria High School held a career fair Friday morning. Junior High Students also got involved in the event.

Students not only heard about the jobs that were available, but got some hands on experience as well.

"We have a multitude of different jobs and what I love about it is it's community based and it's not just one carrer from a college or anything. Like that it's a buch of careers from our city," said EPHS Junior Noah Bond.

Over 50 businesses took part in the career fair.
