Two Peoria men wanted on murder charges in Tazewell County are likely to be back in Central Illinois within two weeks.
Carlton Neely and James Johnson are both charged with the first degree murder of Justin Siebenthal of East Peoria last month.
They were arrested at a truck stop in New Mexico about two weeks later.
Wednesday, Neely and Johnson waived extradition back to Illinois.
A Torrance County Magistrate Court clerk said it was expected they would be returned to Tazewell County within 14 days.
Tazewell County State's Attorney said a private prisoner transport company would bring Nelly and Johnson back to Illinois --at a cost of several thousand dollars apiece.
