EAST PEORIA, Ill. -- Tazewell County authorities are fleshing out what happened in East Peoria last Wednesday when two men were shot, one of them fatally.
According to Prosecutor Kevin Johnson five men arrived at the house on Elm street in East Peoria that morning, and their purpose was to buy marijuana.
Three un-named men had joined Carton Neely and James Johnson in going to the house...but when they arrived there, Neely and Johnson pulled out guns and forced their way into the house.
Justin Seibenthal was shot when he tried to grab Neely's gun.
Another man inside the house, identified as Andrew Leathers, was shot in the back as he tried to run out of the back door.
A third man, Brandon Kemper, escaped from the house without injury.
Local and Federal authorities are keeping up their search for Neely and Johnson who now face murder charges in Tazewell county.
