EAST PEORIA, Ill. -- A local man was found dead outside his home in East Peoria Friday morning.
William Michael Sharpe, 55, of East Peoria, was found lying on the ground near his home shortly after 9:00 a.m. Friday.
East Peoria police were called to the scene.
The Tazewell County coroner's office and Illinois State Police are also investigating.
Cause of death has not yet been released.
An autopsy for Sharpe was conducted Saturday morning, but the coroner's office says cause and manner won't be released until toxicology results are complete.
