EAST PEORIA, Ill. -- The Fifth Quarter sports bar and pizzeria in East Peoria opened its doors today for the first time since the deadly shootings.

Owners say they have been cooperating with police and are now ready to get back to business. They say they've heard from many of their regular patrons who have been eager to support the bar.

"We just thought it was very important to get back our customers and employees a sense of normalcy. It's not an event that's ever going to be forgotten, but we thought for the community it'd be good to get people back to their regular routines," said co-owner Ray Koeppel.

The bar now be open during regular hours, and will have live music.
