EL PASO, Ill -- A small Central Illinois community is $10,000 closer to the goal of developing a library accessible to all.

The city of El Paso is one of 19 communities to win money through The Reader's Digest "We Hear You America" contest.

City officials say the winnings will be used to fund a $1.5 million library expansion project.

Expansion plans include doubling the size of the 105 year old library and making it more handicap accessible.
