ELMWOOD, Ill. -- Hickory Stick restaurant in Elmwood will close it's doors this month.

The Peoria based catering business expanded to Elmwood in June of 2011.

Hickory Stick is known for its southern tasting barbecue ribs, pineapple lemonade and other specialties.

It's unclear why the Elmwood location is closing after about two and a half years.

The last day of business will be February 15.
