WASHINGTON, Ill. – After 10 days of uncertainty, one Georgetown Commons resident was finally reunited with his lost companion.

On Tuesday morning, Georgetown employee Randy Ford located the missing puppy, Dexter, inside the rubble of one of the buildings.

Ford and Dexter’s owner, Jacob, were able to retrieve the dog who was visible malnourished after being stuck inside the rubble since last Sunday’s tornado.
