GALESBURG, Ill. -- National Entrepreneurship Week starts Saturday, and some people in the Heart of Illinois are celebrating a little early.
Representative Moffitt says support for entrepreneurs is more accessible than ever through venues like Galesburg's sustainable business centers.

The Entrepreneurial Support Network of West Central Illinois hosted a kick-off event Tuesday.
It's purpose is to recognize business founders and educators, and encourage graduates to stay in the area and start their own businesses.
Galesburg High School senior Shakisha Grays has been learning from local entrepreneurship programs and says she's considering starting a business of her own one day.
"I think it's important," said Grays, "because then you stand out on your own and can prove to everyone that you can make it on your own and be successful."
"Most of the big businesses that we know today started out small, so that's really where we need to put some emphasis," said State Representative Don Moffitt, (R) of the 74th District. "That's what we're celebrating here today."
