PEORIA, Ill -- You can expect some big changes and a big name when the Women's Lifestyle Show celebrates its 21st year in October.
Promoter Joy Miller says organizers are moving towards a show for today's modern woman.
This year, the Women's Lifestyle will feature seven separate pavilions and feel less like a trade show.
The individual thematic stages include Fashion and Beauty, Home, Health or Bridal and Events.
"And it will be a more interactive, kind of intimate feel, because people won't just be going down aisles," Joy Miller says. "They'll be actually in areas, which is really kind of a sophisticated, hip, trendy thing that's happening out West and we wanted to bring it to Peoria."
Miller also tells us the guest speaker for 2012 is Erin Brockovich.
Since the release of a film based on her achievements, Erin Brockovich has published a New York Times Best-seller and hosted a Lifetime television series.
The Women's Lifestyle Show is October 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
