WASHINGTON, Ill. -- We should know by Monday where FEMA will be setting up shop in Washington.
The officer in charge for this area, Don Jacks says the agency will be helping residents and businesses, just as it did during the springtime floods.
It will also provide help for anyone who lost their job due to the tornado or was self-employed and lost their business.
"Disaster relief insurance is going to be available, along with crisis counseling for those people who need to sit down and discuss what happened and the effect on them and their family. Disaster legal services will also be available," said FEMA officer Don Jacks.
You can sign up for that assistance by either calling 1-800-621-fema or going online to disasterassistance.gov.
