Family asks public for information in shooting death

EL PASO, Ill.-- An El Paso family is looking for closure in the shooting death of their loved one.

On July 20, Terry Punke, 59, was shot in the face while working in his yard at 538 Fairway Drive in El Paso.

Punke died four days later as a result of his injuries.

Investigators continue to treat the case as a homicide, but have no suspects at this time.

"We know in our hearts that this was an accident, and we are just asking for your help so our family can have closure,” said Danita Punke.
