PEORIA, Ill. -- One family in the East Bluff returned home to gun-fire Christmas morning, only later to find out that their home had also been burglarized
At approximately 6:30 a.m., residents returned to their home at 700 East Gift Street in Peoria.
They saw a man at the side of their house who proceeded to fire shots in their direction.
The shots struck the resident's vehicle, and they drove away.
The family contacted police who later entered the home and found it was burglarized.
