Final week for yard waste pick-up in Peoria

PEORIA, Ill. -- If your to-do list still has raking or yard work on it, you might want to check it off this week.

This year's City of Peoria yard waste collection will end this Friday.

Peoria Disposal Company-- or PDC-- will make final yard waste collections this week.

The company reminds residents to follow the size and weight requirements for any cans, bags or bundles, or they will not be collected.

Yard waste pickup will resume April 1 of next year.
