PEORIA, Ill. -- A Peoria apartment sustained only minor damage after a fire broke out in a bathroom.
Firefighters were on the scene at 509 E. McClure just after 3:30 Wednesday morning. Crews quickly extinguished the flames in an upstairs bathroom.
The tenant was not home during the incident and there were no injuries.
Estimated damage to the apartment is approximately $2,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
