DUNLAP, Ill. -- The Red Cross is assisting a Dunlap family after their home caught fire Monday afternoon.

The Dunlap Fire Chief said flames were showing from the home at 10610 West Brimfield Jubilee Road when crews arrived.

The cost of the damage and cause of the fire is unknown at this time but the chief said he believes the fire may have been caused by a wood burning stove.

Two residents were home at the time of the fire. Both escaped without injury.
