PEORIA, Ill. -- A Federal Grand Jury in Peoria has indicted five people on heroin distribution.

Three of them, Monta Anderson, Dion Dre Harris and Walter Nealy IV, are in custody. Harris and Nealy were arrested on Saturday. Anderson is already in the custody of the Illinois Department of Corrections, serving a three year term for drug possession.

Two other defendants, Leland Jones and Latanya Anderson, both of Chicago, remain at large.

The charges unsealed on Monday allege that all five conspired to sell more than 1,000 grams of heroin resulting in death and seriously bodily injury. Whose death or injury was not specified in the indictment.

If convicted, the defendants face 10 years to life in prison. If it is found that the drugs caused death or bodily injuries, they face 20 years to life.
