EAST PEORIA, Ill. -- It only took the winner of the Find Folepi Ornament Hunt two hours to find the elusive ornament.

Tony Johnston, 34, of 301 Juniper Lane, found the acrylic ornament under a bench in Neuman Park.

Johnston joined the hunt on December 18, the day the fourth clue was released, when family friend Griffin Frank, 8, of East Peoria asked him to look at the clues.

“I noticed the clues were about songs and a lot of the songs had horses and farms in them,” Johnston explained, saying the clues led him to Neuman Park.

Johnston, a martial arts instructor, will receive his prize package during a presentation at 11:30 a.m. December 20, in Neuman Park, appropriately at the site where he found the ornament.
