HARARE, ZIMBABWE -- Former Illinois Congressman Mel Reynolds pleaded not guilty to charges of possessing pornography in Zimbabwe Wednesday.

Reynolds lost his Congressional seat in Illinois 20 years ago after being convicted of statutory rape.

According to a state-run newspaper, Reynolds brought several women to his hotel room where he took pictures and videos.

Reynolds told reporters he wasn't going to answer any questions.

Reynolds can apply for bail Thursday. He'll also be asked to enter a plea on a separate charge of breaking Zimbabwe's immigration laws.
