PEORIA CO., Ill. -- A former Dunlap High School teacher was sentenced to six months in jail on Wednesday for secretly videotaping students undergarments in his classroom.
Gordon Mills pleaded guilty to unauthorized videotaping in Peoria County Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon.
Judge Kevin Lyons sentenced him to 180 days in jail and two years probation . In addition, Mills will undergo medical, drug and alcohol assessments.
Mills is not a sex offender, but he does have to forfeit his teaching license and he cannot be alone with minors, with the exception of his children.
He will report to jail next week to begin his sentence.
