PEORIA, Ill. -- Former Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan will be visiting Peoria in March.
Ryan is the latest in a string of high profile Republican politicians to come to Peoria to raise money for Congressman Aaron Schock.
Ryan will host the fundraiser March 21st at Five Points Washington.
In recent years Schock has brought numerous big-name speakers to the district including President George Bush and house speaker John Boehner.
Schock is rumored to be considering a run for Illinois governor in 2014.
