CREVE COEUR -- Fire officials believe an air conditioner may have caused a fire Tuesday morning in Creve Coeur.
The house on 401 Smith Street had a bedroom that was completely engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
Nobody was in the home at the time of the fire.
The Creve Coeur Fire Department and three other departments responded.
The official cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
