Free pancakes at IHOP to benefit the Children's Hospital of Illinois

CENTRAL ILLINOIS -- Want some free pancakes while benefiting a good cause? IHOP will give you the chance to do just that on Tuesday, February 5.

IHOP locations in Peoria, East Peoria, and Bloomington are taking part in a one-day fundraiser for the Children's Hospital of Illinois. From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., restaurants will give out free short stacks to customers and only request a voluntary donation in return.

This is the eighth year for the National Pancake Day event. Since 2006, IHOP has raised approximately $3 million for the Children's Miracle Network hospital.
