PEORIA, Ill. -- Average retail gasoline prices in Peoria have fallen 1.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.81 per gallon Sunday, according to GasBuddy.com.
This compares with the national average that has increased 2.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.72 per gallon.
Including the change in gas prices in Peoria during the past week, prices yesterday were 5.0 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 53.6 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
The national average has increased 42.0 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 9.1 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago.
