Gas prices in Peoria fall sharply

PEORIA, Ill -- Average retail gas prices in Peoria have fallen 20.4 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.45 per gallon on Sunday, according to PeoriaGasPrices.com.

Including the change in prices from last week, prices Sunday were 12.6 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 25.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

The national average has decreased 21.7 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 14 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
