Gas prices rise in Peoria

PEORIA, Ill -- Average retail gasoline prices in Peoria have risen 6.0 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.41 per gallon Sunday, according to gasoline price website PeoriaGasPrices.com.

This compares with the national average that has fallen 3.2 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.46 per gallon.

Including the change in gas prices in Peoria during the past week, prices Sunday were 5.6 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 30.7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

The national average has decreased 32.6 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 3.1 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
