PEORIA, Ill -- All throughout the area many things make our towns and roads unsafe. That's where our Get it Fixed tool comes in to help you report problems in one easy location.
Whether it's a pothole, a broken traffic light, or litter, all you have to do is report any non-emergency problem through Get it Fixed and the issue is sent to city or county officials.
In the city of Peoria, all issues go to the Peoria Cares office. The requests are then distributed to the proper departments.
Maria Barragan with the City Peoria Cares office said, "Depending on the situation, if it's a pothole or a light issue or perhaps an obstruction in a traffic lane then I will forward it on to public works or if there is a code issue at a residence then of course that would go to code enforcement."
If you have an issue to report, just head to our website click on the Get it Fixed link on the top of the front page of our website, or you can get it as a free downloadable app on your phone.
When using Get It Fixed, try to be specific as possible when you report a problem and remember to be patient with the process.
