PEORIA, Ill. -- A Cardinals Hall of Fame pitcher is in Peoria this weekend.

Bob Gibson visited Senior World Friday afternoon where he met and spoke with some of his fans.

The two-time Cy Young Award winner answered questions and told stories and said its nice to be remembered.

"Oh yeah, I do enjoy it. You know if you don't enjoy these things then you just shouldn't do it. It's a lot of fun. It really is," said Bob Gibson.

Gibson is in town for IPMR's annual Legend at the Ballpark benefit and will throw out the first pitch and sign autographs at Saturday night's Peoria Chiefs game.
