Hometown Girls dance in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

NEW YORK CITY, NY -- The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is one of the biggest and most elaborate shows off-Broadway.

It's estimated that more than 3 million people lined the parade route Thursday, where the radio city rockettes kicked off the celebration in 30 degree weather.

Among the dozens of floats, giant balloons, marching bands, and celebrities were three Central Illinois high school girls.

Olivia Diaz, Merisa Ashbaugh, and Kathryn Chadderdon -- of the Knoxville High School Dance Team. The trio, dancing with the Spirit of American Productions Dance Team in this year's parade.
