Grocery store chain Hy-Vee is recalling some bags of Hy-Vee brand dog food due to contamination.

The company says tests on the food showed high levels of aflatoxin, a chemical commonly found in corn. The toxin can sicken pets, causing them to vomit, and become lethargic.

A spokesperson says the recalled products were distributed to stores in eight states, includiong Illinois.
