IDES offices close

GALESBURG-- The Department of Employment Security office in Galesburg is now closed.

Thursday was the last day for the facility, along with six others across the state.

The closures come in anticipation of a loss in federal funding.

Mayor Sal Garza has been working with the state to try and keep the department's presence in Galesburg.
