Illinois State University in top 10 percent for graduation rates

NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State University has risen to the top 10 percent of public and private universities in the nation when it comes to graduation rates.

ISU’s graduation rate has climbed to 71.5 percent. That is the university’s highest graduation rate in recent history. ISU’s graduation rate has jumped 2.7 percent in the past five years.

The national average for graduation rates is 56 percent for public universities according to the U.S. Department of Education.
