The field is getting crowded in the race for governor.

Republicans vying for the top state seat are Chicago investment banker Bruce Rauner, state Treasurer Dan Rutherford of Chenoa and state Senator Bill Brady of Bloomington.

State Senator Kirk Dillard of Hinsdale is expected to announce next month.

News 25’s Ashley McNamee sat down with Treasurer Dan Rutherford to talk about the election.
