Jim McConoughey to resign as Heartland Partnership president

PEORIA, Ill. -- The president and CEO of the Heartland Partnership is resigning.

Confirmed reports to WEEK/WHOI indicate that Jim McConoughey has announced his intention to resign from the Heartland Partnership and related organizations. McConoughey has been with the Heartland Partnership for 10 years.

Although McConoughey has not officially submitted his resignation to the Board of Directors, his resignation is eminent.

Heartland Partnership spokeswoman Renee Charles says they "do not have any statement at this time."
