PEORIA, Ill. -- A Peoria man pleaded not guilty today to robbing a local gas station several times last month.

Thirty-six year old Jerry Johnson faces multiple counts of armed robbery.

He allegedly held up the Marathon gas station at 3036 North Knoxville four times between May 9 and May 14.

Johnson also faces a count of aggravated battery for a fight with the clerk that left the worker with a cut from Johnson's knife.

Johnson is due back in court in August.
